KENNETH J. DiPAOLO
President


Mr. DiPaolo is President and owner of HydroSystems•KDI and manages all irrigation system design, planning, production, scheduling and construction administration work.


Mr. DiPaolo began his career in irrigation in 1976 as an irrigation designer at The Warner Company, a local wholesale supplier. In 1988 The Warner Company sold out to Ferguson Enterprises and Ken opened a new wholesale irrigation supply business called Westurf Distributors.  Ken was a managing partner and owner in Westurf Distributors until October 1999 when he sold the business to United Green Mark.  Throughout the 23 years in the wholesale supply business, Ken provided design-built irrigation designs at the contractor level. Ken developed several design programs that are still being utilized to educate contractors in the Denver area. Ken also taught basic irrigation design and installation for 5 years at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado.

In 2000, Ken opened a small irrigation design and consulting business called KDI Designs, specializing in contractor design-built irrigation projects. In August 2002, KDI Designs merged with HydroSystems and Ken became a co-owner in HydroSystems•KDI, Inc. 

As of February 2007, Ken has become the sole owner of Hydrosystems•KDI and assumed all operations and management responsibilities of the company.  This combination of the wholesale supply industry and design experience has given Mr. DiPaolo the unique qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design.

AMBER M. CLARK
Project Manager

Ms. Clark began her career designing landscapes for homeowners in California in 1998.  Her designs included hardscape elements, landscape plans, irrigation systems, and landscape lighting.  Her services included construction plans and consulting for homeowners.  In 2002, Amber returned to the Denver area and continued designing while updating her education for the Colorado climate.  In 2005 she joined the HydroSystems •KDI team as a Project Manager and began focusing on Commercial Irrigation Design.


Ms. Clark is an Associate of HydroSystems •KDI and acts as a Project Manager for select projects.  She also acts as an in-house Horticultural Consultant for other designers, analyzing the Landscape Architect’s plans to determine the design’s intentions and special requirements.  She then assists in selecting of the most efficient application of water to match that specific design.  Amber specializes in Rooftop irrigation and coordination.

THOMAS BEALL

Mr. Beall is an Associate of HydroSystems-KDI and assists in irrigation system design, golf course design and planning and handles all aspects of pump design and water feature design.

Mr. Beall began his career in irrigation as a contractor, installing irrigation systems. Tom spent two years as a designer at the Denver office of Aspen Consulting Companies and then moved to San Diego to work at the Aspen Consulting Companies California office for three years. He then returned to Denver to work with Hydrosystems•KDI in August 1995 and has since been responsible for all golf course design, water feature and pump station designs for the company.  This combination of construction and design experience has given Mr. Beall the unique qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design,  water feature mechanical system design and irrigation system pump design.

JILL BERSANO

Mrs. Bersano began her career in 2000 at KDI Designs, specializing in contractor design-build irrigation projects.  In August 2002, KDI Designs merged with HydroSystems and Mrs. Bersano assumed a project  manager position in HydroSystems•KDI, Inc.  She also assists  in company operational functions, including bookkeeping entry and invoicing. Mrs. Bersano is currently a student at Metropolitan State University of Denver earning a degree in Business Management.

Mr. Naughtin began his career in 1996 with The Sprinkler Company, a local residential irrigation and landscape contractor.  Jason worked in the field installing softscapes, hardscapes, and irrigation on homes in the South Denver Metro area.  After a three year stint installing and maintaining landscapes in the Grand County, Jason returned to Denver to work primarily as an irrigation technician.  In 2004, he decided to make the move to Urban Farmer, Inc. where he was involved in overseeing the installation of large commercial landscapes, providing design-build irrigation designs, and training employees company wide on proper irrigation installation procedures.  Jason joined Hydrosystems•KDI, Inc. in 2008 as a Project Manager.  A combination of construction, maintenance, and design experience has given Mr. Naughtin distinctive qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design and construction.

Mr. Ochoa began his career in 1998 at DLC Resources INC, a landscape management company of master-planned communities throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area.  Expertise and resources concentrated on landscape maintenance and related services.  Then in 2004 he moved to Denver where he continued his work as an irrigation technician at Swingle Tree and Lawn.  Hugo worked as an irrigation tech for three years where he began irrigation design.  In 2006, Hugo joined HydroSystems•KDI, Inc. as a Project Manager.  With over 6 years of experience working in the field,  Mr. Ochoa has the unique qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design.

CONRAD JAMES GEARY

Mr. Geary began his career in 1976 at The Warner Company, Inc. a local wholesale supplier of professional plumbing,  hydronic heating and irrigation products. He began this career in the warehouse working nights with the   duties of order pulling, stocking materials, receiving, shipping and various other duties. Within a few months he was assigned to days and along with the same duties was assisting contractors at the city parts counter.  Jim worked the parts counter for a short time before he was promoted to the Heating Sales Department in 1978 and from there he assisted in both plumbing and heating sales. In 1979 Jim was asked to join the computer and billing department as Night Supervisor, continuing in this department until 1982 and was then asked to join the Irrigation Sales Department were he continued assisting both irrigation and plumbing contractors until 1987. 

Jim left the company and started his continuing career in irrigation with a new company called Westurf Distributors, Inc. and assisted with various duties there until the company was sold and he decided it was time for a change. Jim took a little time off from work to review his options. Shortly thereafter, he contacted one of his previous employers about working with him again, Ken Di Paolo. Jim again worked with Ken at KDI Design, Inc. untll 2002 and then with him at Hydrosystems•KDI as Project Manager, designing irrigation systems, working with architects, contractors and suppliers  With over 36 years of experience in the plumbing and irrigation industry working for a local wholesale distributors, working in sales departments and the years of design experience, this has given Mr. Geary the qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design.
Mr. Geary is an Associate of HydroSystems-KDI and manages irrigation system design.
