Jim Geary


Mr. Geary began his career in 1976 at The Warner Company, Inc. a local wholesale supplier of professional plumbing,  hydronic heating and irrigation products. He began this career in the warehouse working nights with the  duties of order pulling, stocking materials, receiving, shipping and various other duties. Within a few months he was assigned to days and along with the same duties was assisting contractors at the city parts counter.  He worked the parts counter for a short time before he was promoted to the Heating Sales Department in 1978 and from there he assisted in both plumbing and heating sales. In 1979, Mr. Geary was asked to join the computer and billing department as Night Supervisor, continuing in this department until 1982 and was then asked to join the Irrigation Sales Department were he continued assisting both irrigation and plumbing contractors until 1987.  Mr. Geary left the company and started his continuing career in irrigation with a new company called Westurf Distributors, Inc. and assisted with various duties there until the company was sold and he decided it was time for a change. Jim took a little time off from work to review his options. Shortly thereafter, he began working at KDI Design, Inc. In August, 2002, KDI Design merged with HydroSystems and Mr. Geary assumed a project manager position with HydroSystems-KDI designing irrigation systems, working with architects, contractors and suppliers 

With over 36 years of experience in the plumbing and irrigation industry working for a local wholesale distributors, working in sales departments and the years of design experience, this has given Mr. Geary the qualifications to understand all aspects of irrigation system design.

He is an Associate of HydroSystems-KDI and acts as Project Manager for select projects  managing irrigation system design.

Mr. Geary has developed irrigation plans, construction documents for such notable projects as:
