GPS Services

HydroSystems*KDI owns and operates a GPS unit which can help assist in the location of existing irrigation equipment for inventory purposes or in the use of as-building the irrigation system.

Our process for data collection for site inventory includes visiting the site and locating existing irrigation equipment such as controllers, tap(s)/backflow(s), control valves, flow sensor(s), master valve(s), quick coupling valves, wire splice boxes and any other visible materials. Normally we do not locate the sprinkler heads, but can be done upon request. Piping and all underground equipment are not included in this service. GPS for as-building the irrigation system will take place after all installation is complete. We will take the information and transfer it to AutoCAD to show the exact equipment locations, to within plus or minus 1 foot. These plans can then be used for the as-builts required as a turn over item.
